When you save documents to OneDrive, the URL for your OneDrive folders is taken from your email address so if your email address is firstname.lastname@strath.ac.uk, your OneDrive files would be stored at: 

https://strath-my.sharepoint.com/personal/firstname_lastname_strath_ac_uk


This means that if you ask us to change your email address, the URL for your OneDrive also changes. If you or anyone you have shared with, then tries to access files using a saved link or a recent files list, you may encounter an error.


To resolve this please visit your OneDrive Homepage and browse the folder My Files. or search for the file you need to access using the search box on the ribbon. If you have previously shared files, please re-share to give access using the updated link.
