Past exam papers are an important resource for exam revision and students can view papers via SUPrimo (library catalogue). Our exam paper collection mainly covers the last three years of exam diets for undergraduate classes. Some papers for postgraduate taught classes are also available.
How do I access past exam papers?
Access to our electronic exam papers is available both on and off-campus to staff and registered students of the University of Strathclyde. Search SUPrimo for past papers. You can also access papers via the library links box in MyPlace and via the mobile app.
Suprimo search: Enter class code and set search scope to Exam Papers
MyPlace Library Links box will usually be found on the right-hand side of a class MyPlace page:
Occasionally teaching staff will upload additional exam paper files to their MyPlace class pages.
When are past papers added?
Library staff begin the process of gathering and uploading past papers after each diet of exams has ended. The past papers will usually be available online 4-8 weeks following the actual exam.
Are ALL past exam papers available online?
No, mainly Undergraduate exam papers are available for most departments. Please note each department will decide which papers to make available e.g. some may choose not to release multiple choice papers or August resit papers. Students are advised to contact their departments for further information if necessary.
How many years of past exam papers are available?
All past papers made available to the library will be held online for a period of 3 years. At the end of the 3 year period the paper will be removed. For example, a May 2022 paper will be due for removal in 2025.
Are exam paper solutions available?
No, exam paper solutions are not supplied to the Library.
