To see the complete list of available styles, including Harvard Strathclyde, you must login to EndNote Online via Web of Science at least once a year, to tie up your account details to the University of Strathclyde and ensure that your Web of Science 'Roaming' status is active. You can see when you need to do this by logging in to your EndNote Online account, selecting Options then Subscription, and checking the Web of Science account expiration date. Once Roaming is active, you can select Harvard Strathclyde as a favourite style i.e.
1. To login to EndNote via Web of Science:
- Search on SUPrimo to find the Web of Science SUPrimo record, go to the View It section, and then select the link to the database.
- Now login to Web of Science by entering your University of Strathclyde email address and password with multifactor authentication where prompted.
- Once logged into Web of Science, select Products from the top (black) banner, and then choose EndNote from the drop-down menu.
- Now login to EndNote by entering your University of Strathclyde email address and EndNote password i.e. the login details you registered with EndNote when creating your account.
2. To select 'Harvard Strathclyde' as a favourite style in EndNote Online:
- Once logged into your EndNote Online account, select Format from the top menu bar, choose Bibliography, and then click on Select Favorites:
- Scroll through the alphabetical list of styles and select Harvard Strathclyde. Select Copy to Favorites, and then click Hide to close the pop-up. Next time you check your list of Bibliographic styles, you should see Harvard Strathclyde style is listed.
3. To select Harvard Strathclyde style in Word:
- Once you have completed steps 1 and 2 above, restart Word, select the EndNote tab and you should see Harvard Strathclyde in the Style box. If it is not there, just open the Style drop-down menu, and choose Select Another Style. Harvard Strathclyde should be displaying in your list of favourites, so select it from there:
- If you still cannot see Harvard Strathclyde, then try closing Word, restarting your device, and then reopening Word.
